November 2, 2024 —— Non-profit organization NC Bloom officially debuted today at the fourth Chinese Food Culture Festival held in Cary, North Carolina.

At this year’s Chinese Food Culture Festival, NC Bloom, in collaboration with Huaren Toutiao, set up booths to sell food and exquisite handicrafts, including stone ornaments, keychains, dolls, and more. “Through these crafts, we hope to let more people understand and appreciate Chinese culture, while also raising more educational funds for impoverished children,” said Siyu, the founder of NC Bloom.

This year’s Chinese Food Culture Festival attracted numerous local residents and visitors, and NC Bloom recruited many volunteers. The volunteers not only help raise funds but also can log volunteer hours. This win-win cooperation model not only enhances the spirit of mutual assistance within the community but also provides a solid foundation for the organization’s sustainable development.

In addition to selling handicrafts, NC Bloom also provided manpower support to two local restaurants—YH’s BBQ & Crab and Chengdu 7. Through their service, NC Bloom helped the restaurants alleviate staffing pressures while providing valuable practical experience for its members. All proceeds have been donated to support the education of impoverished children.

Looking ahead, NC Bloom plans to expand the scope of its activities, attracting more young people to join and contribute together to the education of impoverished children. follow our Instagram account: @nc_bloom. Special thanks to Huaren Toutiao for their sponsorship and strong support!
