[Wrote by Andrew Xu, North and South Carolina, USA] On Saturday, August 17th, our NC Bloom team traveled to Charlotte to receive more than 1,000 school bags. We then distributed these bags to students in need in the NC Durham area on November 8th. We are incredibly grateful for this outpouring of support, which helps ensure that every student can start the school year with the supplies they need.

NC Bloom is a youth volunteer organization founded by nine high school students from various high schools in the NC RTP area, dedicated to raising funds to improve the education of children from low-income families. NC Bloom is also planning a series of fundraising events in the future to continue to provide assistance to underprivileged students from low-income families. These activities include community bazaars, fundraising performances, sports events, etc.; through these activities, NC Bloom not only demonstrates the younger generation’s sense of social responsibility and action, but also brings hope and support to students from low-income families.
